Research Trends in Home Visit Rehabilitation of Stroke Patients: Focusing on Korean Studies

Abstract
Objective : This study analyzes the trends of domestic Home-visit rehabilitation research for stroke patients and presents research directions and basic data for the development of the domestic Home-visit rehabilitation field in the future.

Methods : The papers published in domestic journals from January 2000 to October 2021 were analyzed.
Among them, a total of 13 studies were selected that fit the purpose of this study, and then each study was analyzed by study period, and study type, study method, and the result according to the study subject.

Results : As a result of analyzing by study period, the most recent 2020 studies were the most common taking up 23.09%. As for the type of study, it was found that 84.62% of studies were quantitative in type and that literature and qualitative studies each accounted for 7.69%. As a result of analyzing by study subject, studies on the effectiveness of visiting rehabilitation took up the most, which was 53.84%, followed by studies on the necessity of visiting rehabilitation, which accounted for 30.77%, and cost analysis, which accounted for 15.39%.

Conclusion : This study analyzed trends in domestic visit rehabilitation studies of stroke patients. In order for domestic visiting rehabilitation to develop, a systematic visiting rehabilitation system that meets the needs of patients and their guardians should be prepared to establish policies for the introduction of visiting rehabilitation and to provide convenient visiting rehabilitation services.
